Before 2000, the packaging volume of LED chips in Taiwan accounted for about half of the world's market share. The domestic patch LED market was almost completely occupied by suppliers in the United States, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan several years ago.
Since 2000, the localization rate of chips in mainland China has continuously increased, and local suppliers have grown rapidly. Most of the companies are concentrated in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou and Foshan, and a few companies are located in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
