January 18, 2016 — Shenzhen Yuliang Optoelectronics (Yuliang LED) today launched its advanced “Waterproof” series of 5050 full-color RGB lamp beads, designed specifically to meet demanding outdoor and harsh environment applications. After twelve months of intensive development and rigorous validation, this new product line offers reliable waterproof solutions for a wide range of lighting designs.

The series features two specialized versions: a 1.5mm-height model suitable for structural or encapsulated waterproofing, and a 2.8mm-high variant engineered for high-level grout-in waterproof luminaires. Both utilize imported black shell brackets, premium encapsulation gel, Taiwan-sourced wafer chips, and pure gold wire bonding—ensuring long-term durability and stable performance under extreme conditions.

To guarantee reliability, each product undergoes comprehensive testing, including UV resistance, high-low temperature cycling, thermal shock, extended aging at 85°C and -40°C, anti-sulfurization, and waterproof validation.
